In previous years the Community Council has financially supported the Summer Holiday Activity Schemes at the Richard Price Centre and Halo Leisure, Pontycymer. Natural Resources Wales and Bridgend County Borough Council would like to invite members of the Garw Valley community to a drop in session to discuss habitat restoration opportunities in the upper Garw Valley at Blaengarw Workmen’s Hall on Wednesday 3rd April 2019 from 7.00 – 9.00 pm. Once again this year the Visitor Centre will be open over the weekends throughout the school summer holidays. Visitors will have access to the toilet and refreshments will be on offer. Dogs are welcome too.

The Christmas events held in Bettws, Blaengarw and Pontycymer seemed to have been enjoyed despite the wet weather and a broken timer.
