Community Walkabout Bettws 19th August 11.30 am to 3.00 pm

Following the postponement of the Community Walkabout due to the red weather warning of extreme heat issued by the Met Office,  I am excited to invite you to join us on the new date of Wednesday 19th August  11.30am- 3pm. This event is designed to facilitate engagement with local residents and key partners in the community.

We are currently finalising the detailed plans for this initiative and will share the confirmed information with the community via various communication channels.

Event Itinerary

11.30am – 12.30pm: Community Walkabout

Join us for a walkabout across the Bettws Bottom site. This offers an opportunity for us to engage directly with our customers and local residents to understand what they value about the area and what improvements they feel are necessary.

Meeting Point: The designated green space on Maes Glas, situated behind the shop (please look for our Valleys to Coast gazebo).

12.30pm -3 PM: Community Drop-in Session

We’re holding one of our informal ‘drop-in’ sessions on the green space, (weather permitting) where customers and local residents can meet and discuss matters with colleagues from our various departments, including Llanw, our dedicated repair service.

We are also reaching out to local partners, including the Fire Service and the Police Community Support Officer (PCSO), who have been invited to join the conversation and share information with the community.

The aim is to engage with the Bettws community to gain a deeper understanding of their experiences and gather feedback on how we can enhance our services.
